Creating Effective JobScan Models
by Brent W. Hubby, on Oct 11, 2021 11:00:00 AM
The JobScan Model report is getting a new page that will assist facilitators in overseeing the creation of a well-crafted model.
This new analysis page provides insight into which job traits are well defined (targeted trait ranges) and which traits could use some attention (broad trait ranges) to build a solid JobScan Model for screening and selection.
The Recommended Actions section provides valuable information on how to fine-tune the trait ranges in the model based on the type of surveys used—whether ProScan Surveys from top performers or JobScan Surveys from managers.
The recommendations also include ways that facilitators can edit the model to make the process as simple as possible.
Once a model has been clearly defined, a thumbs-up is given congratulating the facilitator for creating a solid job model.
With its consistent use of icons to indicate action items, the analysis page is an easy-to-use tool that will enhance facilitators’ confidence and ultimately result in well-defined JobScan Models for applicant screening and selection.
Terminology Changes
With the release of the model analysis page,
the following terminology changes will be implemented as well:
